Navaratri is a nine-night festival honoring Goddess Durga and the Divine Mother in her nine forms (Navadurga). Devotees observe special prayers/puja, satsang, bhajans, and (optional) fasting for protection, inner strength, and spiritual renewal. The festival traditionally culminates in Vijayadashami (Dussehra), celebrating the victory of good over evil and encouraging a fresh start with positivity and discipline.
