Holi Dahan 2026

Known as Chhoti Holi, this sacred night commemorates the legendary triumph of young Prahlad’s unwavering devotion over the ill-intended Holika, symbolizing the eternal victory of light over darkness and good over evil. As communities gather around the roaring ritual bonfire, the air is filled with prayers and the scent of offerings like coconuts, grains, and cow dung cakes, all cast into the flames to represent the burning away of past grievances and negative energies. It is a time for spiritual cleansing and renewal, inviting us to leave behind the winter’s chill and step into the warmth of spring with a purified heart and a joyful spirit.
